In dieser Ausstellung präsentieren 21 kreative Stimmen eine vielseitige Auswahl fotografischer Arbeitsweisen. Damit stellt sich die Abschlussklasse FOTO19 des Lette-Vereins Berlin erstmals öffentlich vor.

In jeder der Arbeiten wird das Medium der Fotografie benutzt, um die individuelle Wahrnehmung und Interpretation der uns umgebenden Welt darzustellen – mit all ihren besonderen und sonderbaren Facetten, Interaktionen und Situationen. Mit dem Herausarbeiten der jeweils persönlichen fotografischen Haltung bringt die Gruppe von FotografInnen zwangsläufig eine Vielfalt an Ausdrucksformen hervor. Somit reichen die visuellen Standpunkte von konzeptuell bis intuitiv, Landschaften bis Portraits, inszeniert bis spontan, grell bis zurückhaltend, analog bis digital, Reportage bis Kunst, mikroskopisch bis weitwinklig. Dieses spielerisch kuratierte Ensemble verbindet eben diese Bandbreite zu einem zusammenhängenden Eindruck, der zur Auseinandersetzung und zum Betrachten anregt.

Introducing 21 creative voices, this exhibition presents a selection of multi-faceted approaches to photography. With this and for the first time, the graduating class FOTO19 at Lette-Verein Berlin presents itself publicly.

In each of the works, photography is employed to visualize individual perceptions and interpretations of the world surrounding us – including all its intriguing as well as peculiar features, interactions and situations. In the process of refining one’s personal photographic language, this collective of photographers inevitably produces manifold means of expression. As a result, the visual positions range from conceptual to intuitive, landscapes to portraits, staged to spontaneous, flashy to calm, analogue to digital, reportage to artistic, microscopic to wide-angled. This playfully curated ensemble unites that diversity to a coherent impression that stimulates the desire to engage and observe.
